First Quarter Finance: I am currently a contributing editor for this personal finance site. I edit new content, update/rewrite existing content as needed, and write original site content. A few of the pieces I’ve written include:
SEQUITUR: My personal blog with everything from movie reviews to linguistic oddities to stream-of-consciousness ramblings.
- This paper takes the unique perspective of addressing the specific situation of Rachel Landry, an online freelance speechwriter, and placing her situation in the context of larger social and business-administrative issues. This white paper was nominated for a nonfiction writing award.
- This is a complete book review of Dave Mamet’s 2018 novel Chicago. As a fan of both mystery and humor in fiction, I personally loved this novel as both a captivating story and a display of craft.
- This presentation represents the culmination of a semester-long research project that was required for graduation from The Ohio State University with an honors degree in linguistics. I conducted original research and compiled a detailed analysis of code blending in ASL-English bilinguals.
